The Swedish version of the Battle At The Berrics by Tacky.se went down a few weeks ago in Stockholm and Tacky posted some images from the first round. Good Madison coverage in the series so check below and watch the rest of the coverage at www.tacky.se. We all missed John, Slomo and Henrik at the event but there’s always next year… Can’t tell you who did what or placed where but if you want the results right now it’s going to cost you a cold 50.000 sek!

Oskar Wennberg X KNOXX Lifestyle X Madison Skateboards preview.

With the Spring 2010 line from Madison dropping in a month or so we thought we would start previewing some of the goods coming out. The first one out is the Oskar Wennberg X KNOXX Lifestyle X Madison Skateboards board that you can see above. We are still trying to figure out what two colors are coming out so get you commenting going.

The graphic was made by AL Freshko from SF and KNOXX Lifestyle who has been involved in greatness like DGK, Diamond and a few other brands in the past. A great artist with great ideas! This is what he had to say about the graphic and the concept behind it.

“”"The concept behind the graphic was to bridge the gap from San Francisco to Stockholm or Stockholm to Frisco. I used the Stockholm skyline and the Frisco skyline as the texture inside Oskar’s name with the “K” acting as the bridge to the two cities. It was perfect how it all worked out cause I didn’t know he had a “K” in his name. I’m used to seeing Oscar with a “C” instead of a “K”… I also used the transit system from Stockholm & Frisco as a background element throughout the whole deck. So here’s a little somethin’ for the streets.
